Second one on prayer thoughts, overcoming through prayer

So, I helped someone find a free swing set that another person was giving away on Neighborhood– I think that's the name of the Facebook group but I really don't remember :-) - and the Lord brought to mind how He had arranged for me to see this. And, if He was doing this for Courtney, of course He is also working in other situations like Adrianna's.
It's easy for us to lose sight of God's blessings. When John the Baptist was put in prison, Matthew 11 records that he doubted if Jesus was the Christ. So, he sent disciples of his to ask Jesus. Jesus told them to show John all the miracles and other great thigns.
This is true today, too. We often forget to count our blessings, because we focus too much on problems. Alyssa wrote on her prayer/spiritual growth list a couple years ago that she'd seen answered prayer with something as simple as her mom getting more decorative pillows for around the living room, because they are so nice and comfortable to sit on. And, she did.
That's an example of how God will be faithful when we pray, and how when we pray for little thigns, He gives us bigger and bigger thigns to pray for. If Alyssa ever doubts, she can just trust the Lord and He will remidn her of that prayer which was answered.
Sometimes, it's prayers for others, sometimes it's the good thigns we have. However, whatever it is, God brings to mind these thigns - or Bible verses or something else - because He knows each of us as individuals.
The funny thing is, I almost thought a girl looked like Alyssa at camp last Middle School week. The kids were introducing themselves in the cabin and that was her name. If that was her, I don't know, but I do know that she hadn't thought she'd be able to go in 2020 (of course, nobody did except for a teen retreat which she could have gone to). But, perhaps she prayed, and that was one of those thigns that God kept increasing her faith with.
God will bring different peope to mind at different times when we pray. Recently, I was praying for Sal's widow - I keep wanting to write wife - and thinking about depression. Did God bring that to my mind and cause me to keep praying about that, that the Lord would heal her if she's suffering from that? Quite possibly.
Always remember, though, that we need to test the spirits, to see if they are of God, as 1 John 4 tells us. We can pray all we want about something that just happened to come to mind, but if our minds wander we can think pretty weird things. For instance, we can be impacted by PTSD or something else.
Hamione is another who we haven't heard from. A little exploring on Instragram about 7 months ago showed me Candace Cameron Bure, who she would know from Full House and probablhy Fuller House, had a new devotional out called "From Worrier to Warrior." Right away I thought of her, I told Alexis about it, and finally the Lord led me to get it since I had an Amazon gift card I had to use anyway and have it shipped to her.
There's an example where God leads you to move after a while. Other times, action is not needed except for prayer. But, there are too many instances where people say they are praying but don't act when thney could.
So, when you pray, also ask the Lord what you can do to help, if anything. Ask HIm to put in your mind what will help a person,a nd then pray for that, adding that, if it's you who is to provide it, that God give you the resources to do it and get you to use them and do it.
Pray God gives me wisdom about this blog, I've had one view in 6 weeks or so. Maybe it was only meant to rech those few I did at first.
